Description

The aim of the new Passat internet presentation is to bring across the launch of the new Passat to the broad and growing internet public and to communicate its key facts. With a state-of-the-art website, a form of communication is practised which uses the medium to transcend the limitations of the mere transmission of facts; and that despite an apparently rigid "orientation on facts". The Passat represents comfortable driving, exemplary Volkswagen quality, high technical standards with regards to safety and engine performance, but also economy. It is the harmonisation of these attributes which makes the Passat the flagship of the Vokswagen range of products. The design of its website speaks a language which, however down-to-earth the contents may be, communicates grandeur, sovereignty and class. Via these values, the target group identify with the automobile. As the status of the Passat enhanced, so too the status of Volkswagen as a brand is enhanced. After a synopsis of the Passats features and characteristics, the logical flow of the program leads directly to contact being made and a test drive arranged with a Volkswagen dealer.
