With such a rich resource of W&G creativity available to us, we were able to produce a truly engaging interactive TV campaign. Short films were developed featuring the main characters in their clay world. With a click of the interactive button our audience found themselves transported into the charming world of W&G. Within this world audiences were able to play games and enter competitions with the clay characters.
Outcome
The heritage of the characters meant that anything other than a Top Three opening would be seen as a failure, across the competitive holiday period. Wallace and Gromit opened at Number One and secured UIP their highest ever opening for a non sequel film.
