“We need to talk about Alice” is based on the tea scene from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

With a new twist on the plot and a modern take on all the characters, the film tells the psychedelic encounter of Alice with the Mad Hatter and his guests at the tea table.
