Since its inception in 2001, the Whistler Film Festival has evolved from being a regional event to a noteworthy addition to the global film festival circuit, complete with world premieres, renowned guests and an innovative professional development program.In 2007, a new positioning was created for the Whistler Film Festival, capitalizing on the mountain location that sets it apart from all others. The campaign tagline ‘New Terrain’ suggests the unexplored territory of filmmaking, and the extreme nature of the surroundings.This TV spot shows what happens when two industry-types take movie pitching to the extreme.
