Description

In this spot, we see beautiful footage of female farmers as they go about their daily work on the farm, from dusk to dawn doing everything from feeding cows to cleaning the barn to looking over the finances. A voice over reads a poem that we wrote to sound as though it had been discovered from an old book from the 1950s, reflecting a previous generation’s views on “women’s work.” The old fashioned and outdated notions provide a sharp contrast to the work we see the women doing and highlight how they are defying those stereotypes. The spot ends with an inspiring message encouraging these female farmers and all women who are defying these old-fashioned expectations of them.
