Get Crackin’ Year 3 continued to build on the Wonderful Pistachio brand equity that has been established over the previous 2 years and 16 previous 'Get Crackin’ television executions. The objective was to up the buzz-factor by incorporating talent that would generate media excitement and online chatter. The 7 new 15 executions continued to deliver the simple message that pistachios are fun to eat and that each of us has our own particular way of cracking our nuts open. The talent, including the Honey Badger, Kermit the Frog, Angry Birds, Mr. Bill, the Winklevoss Twins, Khloe & Lamar and Crystal the Monkey, were selected on their collective ability to appeal to a wide demographic audience.
