We created the positioning, "The new KFC Zinger Maxx tastes so good, you’ll never let it go."We then shot 2 new TV commercials and decided to add a call-to-action for consumers to upload their one handed feats to the KFC website for the chance to be on TV.We then took the best videos and put them in the next KFC commercials and gave their creators the credit.We are pleased to admit that most of the videos shot by consumers were even wackier than ours!
Outcome
Zinger Maxx website generated over 87,700 visits to date.Sales mix increased to 8.7%.1.23 million servings in first month (23% over projection).
