To emphasise Nokia’s interest in design, we launched the Concept Lounge. It’s a community website where visitors can share their ideas on the future of mobile communication. The site got 450,000 visitors discussing 4,500 entered ideas. The winning ideas were turned into virtual test models by the Nokia design team. Nokia also presented concepts of their own to light the creative fire. On the site, users were invited to take a virtual walk to discover the different site parts through a luscious virtual environment (symbolising a warm, happy future, based on a harmonic symbiosis of lifestyle & nature).
