BriefExplanation
Film begins with the Renault KWID stopping at a traffic light.
Through the window, the driver sees a poster of the Incredible Hulk and starts to imagine things.
On the radio he hears news of a satellite that is approaching Earth. Suddenly, the Hulk enters the scene. He looks at the driver, and with his eyes, challenges him to try and avoid this huge disaster.
From this point on, KWID and the Hulk go off into town, getting into dangerous situations that reinforce the car’s features and qualify it as the city’s hero.
In the end, the Hulk and KWID are able to avoid the disaster.
Our protagonist wakes up from his daydream and drives off.
ClientBriefOrObjective
The production design of this commercial was intense.
It would probably have been challenging to produce it in a country that was not Brazil.
Flying a drone downtown, flooding an entire street to make just one sequence, all the struggle against traffic in a city like São Paulo. It was very tough.
One of the most important things was getting the main building.
Iconic and isolated from the other buildings, "Banespa" (which looks like the NYC Empire State) it was what the story needed. It was not easy, but we got it.
Most of the speed shots were made with a Russian Arm through the downtown streets.
We had full street control, and risky shots with professional stunt drivers completed the show.
