Ausfilm provides the international film community with direct access to Australias screen incentives, talent and facilities. The brief was to design the brand identity for Ausfilm’s premier annual event in Europe, Ausfilm Co-production Forum.

The approach began with moving away from the traditional images of 'Australiana' and replacing it with visually evocative and intimate imagery that tells a compelling story.
Effectiveness
"AFCO Forum targeted UK and Australian producers as well as representing the Australian production industry abroad. Ausfilm industry members, including the Ausfilm Chair, were unanimously, impressed by the fresh, sophisticated, evocative design. Material design gave gravitas to the event and helped to attract the right level of UK producer to the forum." Anita Nelving, Head of Marketing and Business Development Ausfilm.
Execution
For the overarching event brand, a highly filmic photographic style was developed that capturesthe epic landscapes of Australia overlaid with intimate personal stories.
The outcome is an approach that is emotionally engaging, a inviting multifaceted interpretationto the work. In essence, the imagery is a poetic reflection of Australia, and of stories told.
