VO: We now present Your Job-Quitting Fantasy:
It’s Friday. 9:30. Sheila, your boss, approaches. But before she can speak, you remove an absurdly large tape deck from your desk and press play. (SFX: THROAT-SINGING BEGINS) As the sounds of Mongolian throat-singing fills the room, you turn toward Sheila and open your mouth to reveal a small bird peeking its head out. The bird whispers softly, “I knooow what you’ve doooonnne.” Of course, the bird doesn’t really know what she’s done. And neither do you. But everybody’s done something, including Marvin the annoying freelancer who now sits curled up in the corner crying. Slowly, you back your way toward the elevators, stealing Marvin’s yogurt parfait as you go and making creepy eye contact with everyone you pass while the bird just keeps whispering “I knoowwww.” And then… like that… (THROAT-SINGING STOPS) you’re gone, off to begin the new, better fitting, more fulfilling job you found with the help of Monster.com.
