BUSHE, Piter / BUSHE / 2019
Overview
Credits
Background
Bushe is a big chain of 40 city cafes in St. Petersburg. Bushe's philosophy is based on a simple formula, a wordplay, that translates as "keep eat [it] true [real]". It focuses on the content, and not on the external gloss.
Describe the creative idea
St. Petersburg is the most European city in Russia with only 80 sunny days a year, dozens of channels, hundreds of museums, thousands of cafes and millions of urban textures. Over 20 years of work, Bushe has become as an integral symbol of St. Petersburg, as well as a special urban range, people with their stories, architecture or the weather.
Describe the execution
A new visual Identity is graphically based on Saint Petersburg’s urban textures, a muted palette and monochromefonts. Visual accents of the urban environment are used for all printed materials – the posters, the POS, souvenirs, packaging and outdoor advertising.
List the results
For the last year this rebranding was the most discussed in Saint Petersburg.
