BriefExplanation
This film shows Hollie McNish talking about her own personal experience of being a mum. Written entirely by her, she’s not afraid to describe what it’s really like - rarely done in advertising.
EntrySummary
Nationwide is a Building Society, founded by ordinary people who saved and lent to each other at a time when the banks wouldn’t lend to ordinary people to buy their own homes.
They each owned a share, they each had a vote, and they each had a voice. This is exactly the same today. Our campaign gives ordinary people – represented by spoken word artists - a voice to speak up for what’s important to them. The artist has total control - no changes allowed by client or agency - then they’re filmed with total authenticity and integrity so nothing comes between the artist and viewer.
