Lexus "Minority Report" Experience When creating Minority Report, Steven Spielberg asked Lexus if they’d be interested in working with him and a team of futurists in envisioning what automotive transportation might be like 50 years from now. The result was that futuristic Lexus vehicles were prominently featured in the summer blockbuster. Lexus wanted to highlight this unique movie tie in, thereby elevating its brand image and enhancing its emotional appeal with current and future customers. For the Lexus Minority Report Experience, we set out to build an interactive adventure that allows the user to explore the world of 2054 by traveling around in a Lexus vehicle that can only come from the mind of Spielberg. For integration purposes, the site also acts as a prequel for the Lexus TV spot, which features a 2054 Lexus sports car. In fact, the spot plays at the end of the site, when the user successfully completes the adventure. To date, the Lexus Minority Report Experience has attracted over 2.5 million visitors, blowing away all client expectations.
