Write a short summary of what happens in the film

In the film "Madame Rouge" on seecolors.samsung.ch, the spectators experience the special story of a woman who leads a completely normal life. With one small exception: for some people she is completely invisible, because she is always dressed in red and therefore imperceptible to many colorblind people.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

Over 200.000 people in Switzerland are colorblind. With Samsung SeeColors, Samsung offers an app that calibrates their TV so that colorblind people can better see what happens on the screen. The colors are adjusted to the individual seeing disability.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the direction. Do not name the director.

The most important element of this film is the direction, because the topic of colors was made human. The color red became "Madame Rouge" and she had to embody the problem of being colorblind and not being able to see the color red. The challenge for the director was to bring this across in an authentic and understandable manner.
