When it comes to the One Show advertising, design and interactive annuals, it all comes down to one simple, indisputable fact: You are either in the book, or not in the book.It’s a cruel binary system. There is no in between. Either you’re good enough to be in it or you want to be in it. So let’s embrace this reality and celebrate it. The book and the spine will tell the world if you’re in the book or not. Since Advertising has become more integrated and interactive, so too are the One Show Annuals. Enclosed stickers allow you to interact with, and customize the book – even telling colleagues which page number(s) your work appears on. Small post-it note-like stickers allow you to ‘flag’ work throughout the annual in amusing ways. The design of the annuals and the box set reflect this inescapable truism as well. It’s black and white. And unlike previous years, there is no jacket. No way to strip away the harsh reality of your place in One Show history.
