BriefExplanation
How could we promote the masterpieces of Christian music in these secular times? To demonstrate that religious music is not only enjoyable and meaningful for religious people, we brought two complete opposites together in our radio commercial: Monseigneur Léonard, hard line catholic archbischop of Brussels, renowned for ultra-conservative ideas. And professor Vermeersch, Belgium's most virulent atheist. Next, we organised a unique debate between them in the National Opera. A lively discussion that was broadcasted live on radio Klara. And despite the clash of ideas, both men almost became friends. The ultimate proof that great music can unite people, regardless of their beliefs.

MUSIC: BACH - ST MATTHEWS PASSION
LEONARD: I am Monseigneur Léonard, archbischop of Mechelen, Brussels and I think Bach's St Matthews Passion is extraordinary beautiful music.
VERMEERSCH: I am Etienne Vermeersch, atheist, and in this case, I have to agree with Mr Léonard.
ANNCR: The St Matthew Passion of Bach. You don't have to be religious, to love it.
LEONARD: It helps though.
VERMEERSCH: But you don't need it.
ANNCR: Enjoy the most beautiful religious masterpieces, in 'Easter on Klara'. From April 5th to 9th.
