Pling is a push-to-talk messenger app designed for mobile and desktop. It mixes the speed and brevity of texting with the personality and ease of your voice. Pling helps communicate naturally, with more accuracy & speed. The business model is a monthly subscription fee for use of the “Pling for Professionals” version of the product designed for the “social enterprise” market (“yammer for audio”).

10,000 downloads with 5000 plings sent each day, and growing by 10% each week, just one month into its launch with a dozen companies using the Enterprise version. Most products take time to grow; we are focused on the growth of active users and the Enterprise version at this stage.

Pling is a version 1.5 product, past Alpha and Beta stages, launched in-market. Significant updates have been deployed that fix early bugs and add more scaling capability, continuing to grow but with much more to build out to achieve our vision.
