OVERVIEW

CampaignDescription

Insights

In the United States, the prevalence of people incorrectly taking their medications is at crisis level. Over 1.3 million people are hospitalized and 125,000 people die each year from not adhering to their medications. The situation is especially grave in the elderly who have multiple chronic diseases and thus need multiple medications. They constantly struggle with the complexity of the medications they have to take. They often miss or make mistakes with their medications, which can lead to hospitalizations or being put into nursing homes. They fear growing sicker, being placed into a nursing home, and losing their independence.
