A young woman and her friends arrive at a retro bowling alley in good spirits. They go to pay their entry fee and our hero pays for everyone with her phone: this impresses her friends. Then the whole world magically changes. As they enter the alley a dancing groove comes over everybody and things just feel different. Their movements are tweaked, rhythmic, and synchronised. Their shoes jump onto their feet and lace themselves up. The bowling balls are as light as air. They can summon objects into their hands. Their hair and their clothes dance with them. They float dreamlike across the lanes and our hero bowls a strike. Her friends cheer with her, they are enjoying this crazy new reality.

The long-awaited introduction of Apple Pay by Australia’s largest bank signaled a major shift in the way Australian people pay.

The whole spot of 'The Sweet Spot' aka ‘The Alley’ was very technical and had to be executed perfectly for the rhythms and choreography to work as well as they do. All the rushes were prepared in 100% reverse but in order for the backwards motion to feel natural and attractive, each shot had to be nuanced into its own perfect speed and edit points. The editor had to make these somewhat awkward shots flow and sit together smoothly and in time with the soundtrack in order to make this heightened world appear natural and fun.

The heightened world was difficult to achieve because it started out looking weird and daggy, however, the editor transformed it and achieved an aesthetic that is fun and cool.
