In a crowded market filled with metaphors for depression, the 'Terri & Team' TV spot truly stands out. It opens on a kindred spirit in Terri, who clearly feels stuck with her unresolved symptoms. But after the ABILIFY® (aripiprazole) ‘A’ is added to her antidepressant pill, the iconic team helps Terri move on.
By literally illustrating that Abilify is meant to be added to an antidepressant (not replace it), the spot clearly differentiates the brand and builds equity in the minds of adults with major depressive disorder. And by spending extra time in the doctor’s office (when other spots typically feature slice-of-life shots), the spot better motivates patients to ask their own doctor if Abilify is right for them.
