Description
On January 9, 2001, Dentsu launched its new corporate website www.dentsu.com and took the step toward this century of unprecedented communications by building up its corporate image in an effort to facilitate the swift delivery of information around the globe. The team's primary intent was to convey the diversity of Dentsu to journalists, others in the communications industry and basically anyone interested in learning about the Company. The site is crafted to communicate Dentsu's unique ability to view the world from many sides concurrently and to bring together contrary elements and make them compatible. This was achieved by showing Dentsu as a sum of its many parts, rather than portraying the Company as just another corporate, commercial organizaiton. The site's unique top page welcomes visitors by juxtaposing a series of contrasting images that appear randomly with each reloading of the site, and which reflect the environment in which Dentsu operates. On the 180 degrees screen Zen-colored question and answers appear providing insight into Dentsu. As the information within the site confirms, Dentsu is able to absorb and consequently communicate such ambient factors with striking precision.
