TBWA\ Tequila has an internship programme of a different kind. The 'Un-Internship' is structured so that interns don't run tedious errands and make coffee, but do actual agency work. What better way to demonstrate this fact than to get ex-interns to work on the brief?
Execution
The task was simple: Create a poster using the line "At TBWA\ Tequila, they let interns do actual work". The agency selected the most interesting and aesthetically pleasing posters then placed them in selected universities across Hong Kong.
Outcome
Through the direct response mechanics (at base), over 200 applicants applied, up from 120 in 2006.
The best two completed their "Un-Internships" in the summer of 2007.
