Scent is one of the most powerful triggers of memory. One whiff of freshly cut grass can immediately transport you back to the front yard of your childhood home—to birthdays, holidays and anniversaries.
Last holiday season, Air Wick reached out to seniors who were downsizing, and using the power of scent, helped them say goodbye to their longtime homes.
The film introduced three families in the process of moving: the Saltzman family, the Preston family and the Bertei family. Each family reflected on all the memories made in their homes—of daily rituals, family gatherings and spring gardens. Air Wick’s perfumers then crafted custom scented candles based on all the fragrant scent cues from each home.
