These postcards were created under the concept "Every time there is torture we go back 200 years" to commemorate the 200 years since the abolition of torture. For this occasion contemporary ways of torture were represented in art styles from 200 centuries ago like baroque and engraving.

The postcards were available in bars, libraries, and coffee shops of the "Push & Pull" circuit and were also given out in the "Convención del Bicentenario de la Asamblea del Año XIII" an event were the main human rights organizations were gathered to commemorate this 200-year anniversary and to discuss this topic.
