OVERVIEW

Description

Unwrapping a gift is always exciting. And yet just a few minutes later the brightly coloured paper, which was the centre of attention, is cast aside. Attention is now directed to something new. The wrapping paper analogy is a perfect demonstration of how quickly animals given as gifts can also be cast aside.

Outcome

RSPCA exceeded their ambitious target, which included a 23% increase in donations compared to 2003. Over $400,000 was donated as a direct result of this pack. Under normal circumstances, we would have raised an additional amount directly after Christmas, when thousands of animals are being abandoned, but the Tsunami hit on Boxing Day. So many of our regular donors with excess funds quite rightly donated to humane causes this year.
