Description

Culturally relevant scenarios and visuals were specific to each ethnicity, this being to Filipinos. A popular dish in Filipino cuisine is adobo, a dish that involves marinated meats or vegetables. The first scene shows only one piece of meat in the adobo, which is typically unheard. The second scene shows a puzzled boy at his first Christmas, holding up only one gift. Usually, infants are showered with gifts during their Christmas in Filipino culture. A piggy bank with only little savings is shown in the third scene, which is quite surprising among Asians. Asians immigrated to the US seeking better opportunities and made many sacrifices for their family to have the best and therefore would save more. Karaoke typically has a variety of songs —only two songs is unacceptable.
