OVERVIEW

Description

Brief: The Asian Tiger is nearly extinct. Since poaching has been the reason for their dwindling numbers, WWF wanted to curtail demand across Asia, where the greatest desire exists for tiger bones and fur.

Execution

Solution: A medium perfectly suited to tell the tiger’s story was used showing how near to extinction this magnificent animal truly is. The flipbook takes one through the tiger’s very beginnings in the sea to a fish, to on land as a reptile and on to its various stages before becoming the tiger and finally a fur coat.

Outcome

Results: In China, where the greatest demand for tiger furs and bones exist, a ban against such practices was recently strengthened. A victory that may begin to help the numbers of this brilliant animal rise again.
