Background
Sprite aimed to target Gen Z with their tagline "Heat happens, stay cool" with an activation in the gaming sector, a departure from their typical advertising landscape. They sought to position Sprite as a brand that provides refreshment and clarity in tense moments, ultimately enhancing brand relevance and engagement within the gaming community.
Idea
The AntiBan-Ad is a free-to-download plugin developed from the ground up by Sprite. It uses A.I. to identify banned words and decibels in real time during the stream. When it does it mutes the streamer and plays a cool message on top. The plugin learns the streamers voice and reads a pre-written script that won’t get them banned allowing them to keep on streaming and generating income.
Strategy
Many streamers dread the word 'banned' because it means they can't continue doing their thing. This often occurs because of inappropriate words they say in heated moments. So, when streamers get heated, they get banned.
As Sprite has always fought to offer its audience, the Gen Zers, refreshment and clarity in the heat of the moment, we created a solution to help them stay cool, enabling them to continue streaming uninterrupted.
A Sprite ad will activate when they need it the most. How? An AI will analyze their voice volume and the words they use, learning their unique voice patterns. If it detects increasing tension, a Sprite ad will play, transforming a heated comment into a refreshing one.
Execution
We've started the implementation on Instagram highlighting the problem faced by streamers on platforms like Twitch, where they risk being banned when they get heated, resulting in loss of revenue and followers.
In the earlier stages the plugin was trained by a select group of streamers to make it more precise for the release.
We've also added a registration landing page on the Sprite website, enabling users to sign up for notifications when the plug-in is available for free download.
This tool will be available for free, converting every heated moment during a stream into a refreshing Sprite ad, ultimately saving streamers from potential bans and ensuring a seamless viewing experience for their entire audience.

We helped 100,700 followers to continue watching their favorite streamers' streams;
We helped visible streams gain +5,000 new followers;
Streamers could stay active for +50hs without bans;
+1,114% interactions vs bench of the last 3 collaborations from 2024 and 2023. In other words, we exceeded the last 3 collaborations made.
