Description

Audi Night Vision Assist is a thermal imaging camera placed in the front of the car. It can detect humans in poor light conditions.We decided to show how this works – in a print ad.In the body copy, you’re instructed to download a free app to your smart phone. With it, you can explore Audi Night Vision by holding up your phone and moving it in front of the ad.Can you spot the pedestrian?

Execution

We created an interactive print ad in Sweden’s leading car magazine ”Teknikens värld” (Technology World). On the ad you’re instructed to download a free app to your smart phone. With it, you can explore how Audi Night Vision works by holding up your phone and moving it in front of the ad. You can also share the experience with others through the app and explore the ad on the web.

Outcome

Sales have increased by 23% (compared with March 2011) and the accumulated market share for Audi have gone up from 6.14% to 6.55%In March 2012, Audi sold an all time high of 2139 cars in Sweden.
