Execution

Audi on demand experience starts with the push of a button. Our digital key uses BTLE technology ensuring a seamless experience for accessing the car; the only digital key that uses this technology to provide entry also in offline situations. The service design and experience was defined using an interactive agile process. Audi on demand, built with 13 bespoke microservices on top of an industry standard cloud based stack. Each of these microservices perfectly encapsulates a business domain and can be reused to power the next generation of Audi business innovations. To create more than technology, but a new service.

Outcome

Audi on demand has been launched with a beta/influencer phase exclusively in San Francisco because the city is known for innovation and early adoption of on-demand services.

In the first five months of beta, Audi on demand customers have already enjoyed more than 10,000 miles of journeys, and their feedback couldn’t be clearer:

‘Audi on demand is the next stage for premium customers’; ‘Audi on demand is a cut above Hertz and other services’; ‘It’s seamless and phenomenal’ - Audi on demand customer quotes.

US app rollout will happen end of April 2015.
