Designed to promote the Prius brand as well as introduce new Prius models, Prius Records sought to attract the eyeballs of a wider, even-more-engaged audience.
All in all, two anchors, two roving correspondents, seven URDB officials and more then twenty skilled record-setters took the stage for two 10-hour, completely-live-on-the-internet days, ultimately setting 206 new URDB world records in and around four Prii in a four ring circus record setting extravaganza.
These targeted and ultimately entertaining records brought already-existing communities across the web under the Prius fan umbrella.
Outcome
The app already has 10,000 downloads and becomes a richer experience with every new user, as they add their favorite food trucks. This app was the first to pull from multiple sources and track food trucks on a national scale. It’s been featured on FWA as the mobile app of the day, and has been celebrated in user and critic reviews.
