We made use of the people's imagination and conscience. We sent an e-mail that was written by a fictional character who was murdered when his laptop was stolen from him in the streets of Guatemala. This character made the reader aware that the laptop in which he was reading the email could have been the one that cost him his life. If it had been purchased in the black market. With a conciliatory tone, he explained how he never returned home to his family that day, and asked the reader not to buy stolen electronics.
