A man and woman meet, fall in love and have four children. Each child has the ups and downs that befall nearly every American family. Grandchildren arrive. Years pass. And through it all, they stay connected to one another through the bonds of family. And every five years, no matter where they are in the world, they gather at their parents home for a family portrait.
