The film combines the romance and rhythm of Latin America with the story of an Englishman struggling to adapt to the lack of personal space afforded to individuals in Mexico.

Set to a slowly-building musical crescendo performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, we see the Englishman in a series of too-close-for-comfort encounters with locals.

As he continually attempts to re-establish the boundaries of his personal space, he is closely shadowed by the friendly Mexicans and we observe that these movements resemble an intimate dance. In particular a Tango.
