Description

We created BC STREET BOX, which was the combination of original tip box and smart phone and credit card payments system, and this made customers pay performance fee with just simple touch. Paid performance fee went directly to street artists and this made their income routes stable. People naturally paid the performance fee with their mobile phones and credit cards, and this phenomenon spread gradually.

Execution

[BC STREET BOX Manufacture]

The team consist of professional designers and Fin tech technicians created BC STREET BOX which is the smart phone and credit card payment. Total 11 BC STREET BOXES were manufactured and allocated to each 11 street artists and used at the busking concert immediately.

[BUSKING PERFORMANCE]

We selected 11 street artists, and performed busking concert with them in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu. We introduced BC STREET BOX PROJECT to people who were unaware of busking and tip culture,

and pedestrian experienced smart payment paid through BC STREET BOX in person.

[DIGITAL ALBUM]

we selected unaware songs from each artist teams and reproduced songs with senior artists and changed it into famous songs. Through this activities target audience was exposed to the main project

[CONCERT]

we held BC STREET BOX concert to advertise this project widely. Reproduced songs were open to public on this concert, and this brought audience’s curiosity.

Media release: 15 media covered this project.

BC STREET BOX was used approximately 200 times.
