Description
Using Fin-Tech, we made a tip box that can pay tips to passionate youngsters on the streets with only cards and mobile touches.
Execution
First, Street box enables people to pay for tips to performers, which becomes income for them. Also, we produced the music source so that its profit goes to musicians, and host a concert to share their music with many others.
Second project is to support street vendors with dreams. We have installed the ‘street box’ so that people can pay off theirs tips at ‘YuolJeongDo’,the road where full of street vendors with creative business items. (YuolJeongDo means ‘road of passion’ and is place famously known for creative business start ups including food, art and many others)
At last, we collaborated with TV series which runs talk busking on street. By this, ‘Street box’ resonates with people and became an icon to symbolize street culture.
Outcome
BC Street Box became a symbol of Korea's street culture by forming a positive public opinion to support street youths and exposed to media articles. In addition, it settled on a way to pay for a tip with a credit card.
