BC Card ( a leading credit card company in Korea) has released an eco-friendly credit card, the BC Green Card. By using the BC Green Card in your daily life, you could protect the environment indirectly.
Saving the environment has become a common issue nowadays. So what would be the best way to persuade people into using the BC Green Card?
Most people feel the need to protect the environment, but also think that it’s a hassle. We took this conduct under consideration and decided to take an advantage of it.. We planned to illustrate the convenience of protecting the environment without any hassle just by using the BC Green Card.
The advertisement begins by showing a mom cooking in the kitchen on a hot summer night. The children ask why she wouldn’t turn on the air conditioner (a typical product that destroys the environment by taking a large power consumption). The mom suddenly turns around with a knife in her hand, to reenact a horror movie, giving her children the chills without turning on the air conditioner. The ad delivers a message that “just by using the BC Green Card, funds are raised for the earth.”
