Overview

Background

Halloween is an important date for Burger King. Last year, we needed to create something to connect, in a meaningful way, with one of our most important target demographics: teens.

Idea

We worked with Marvel and DC comic book artist Francesco Francavilla to create a limited-edition series of scary ketchup packets with monstrous characters.

Execution

The five terrifying designs were available in our most iconic restaurants during Halloween night. We produced 10.000 units for those restaurants.

Outcome

In a few hours, the packets were gone. Thousands of people shared them on their social media and asked BK not to let them disappear.
