Convince the press and decision-makers of the advantages of the new Mercedes-Benz Bluetec® Diesel technology.
Execution
We wrote a series of short stories that give a completely new emotional charge to the topic of saving fossil fuels. To do so we told the stories that are condensed in every drop of oil, taking the readers to a land 650 million years before our time. Illustrations enhanced the impact. Especially since we used engine oil to mix our colors.
Outcome
The Stories in Oil led to a significant increase in press coverage in almost every truck magazine. Bluetec® was established as the ecological and economical benchmark in the audience’s relevant set in the following market analysis.
