Bonprix wanted to prove there’s more to women than meets the eye. So for the film, we needed to find real women who were truly more than meets the eye. We actually built the film scenes around the casting, not the other way around. We didn’t cast for a certain look, age, or size. Our only direction was that the women needed to have an unexpected quality that made them stand out. This unique approach led us to some of the most amazing women out there: a badass biker, a pregnant yogi, a tattooed grandmother, a dominatrix with a PhD and more. We brought these interesting women to the set and shot them doing what they love to do. Our casting approach was in itself more than meets the eye and proved bonprix didn’t just think differently from all the other fashion brands, they acted differently too.
