The museum space was created entirely in CGI, the design based off of European gallery spaces. The sculpture of the Vitruvian Man was designed from Leonardo’s original drawing, and brought to life entirely in CGI, given a plaster texture that would naturally crumble when broken. Since the concept involved having a woman "inside" breaking out, an inner light was created to dramatize the cracklature across the statue as it grew. The hero woman was shot entirely as live-action, and the CGI of the statue and space mapped and built around her. The lighting in the first half of the film was kept cooler, to represent the status quo, men being the default in medicine. By the time our hero emerges, the light has shifted to warmer tones, signaling an optimistic change in women’s medicine.
