Background
Bridgerton, a show set in the Regency era, was launching another season in the Philippines.
Idea
To Filipinos, 19th-century London is a completely different world.
So how did Netflix get Pinoys invested in this period drama about British high society?
Introducing 'Villa Bridgerton.'
A 1930s Filipino mansion that looked nothing like the Bridgerton House, transformed into one.
Execution
A multisensory experience, every nook and cranny of the mansion was redesigned and refurbished into something worthy of British Regency era high society--from the hallways, the dining room, the living room, the master's bedroom, down to the garden and doorway.
There was a horse and carriage, and a croquet lawn. Maids and butlers welcomed the guests, along with a quartet that played pop songs with a classical twist, the Bridgerton way.
A high-fashion crossover film featuring iconic Filipino TikTok Kweens was shot as an invite.
Outcome
Visits were booked instantly. The demand was so high that it received countless requests for pre-nuptial and birthday shoots. People were even willing to pay.
