Description

Targets for Budweiser Budvars German website Right in time for Christmas 2000, Berlin-based multimedia agency bildbau agneue medien relaunched the German website for Budweiser Budvar, one of the best beers in the world. The goal was to site and cater to the growing Budweiser community in Germany - a direct result of the highly successful series of online games. In addition to an archive of all four games produced by bildbau for the beer brand, the fans of a delicious draft can travel through time all the wasback to 1259 to explore the history of Budweiser Budvar. But the most important feature remain the Budweisers games such as pomocnik, which had the participants sort green and brown bottles on conveyor belts. Pomocnik generated a quarter of a million hits with the first few days and the games winning team did so with an amazing 7 million bottles sorted - all in the space of six weeks. For Budweiser Budvar, a brand with a comparatively small advertising budget, the online games are a perfect means to promote brand identity and generate a loyal community in a specific target group.
