Background
The biggest problem of e-mobility is the fear that the battery range is too small for everyday use. The biggest benefit of Repower, a provider of charging stations, is to provide 24 hour availability for all owners of e-cars – thanks to a dense network of charging stations and mobile emergency services across Switzerland.
We had the task to increase the brand awareness of Repower. The target group should become aware of the fact that Repower provides power for electric cars 24 hours a day. Furthermore our promotional campaign had the objective to increase the usage of Repower charging stations.
Execution
For 24 hours we made a real digital clock out of BMWi cars. The cars were filmed and the video was used to create lots of advertising material. For example youtube videos, screensaver, banner and widgets. The clock was spread all over the media and created a great awareness online. In addition the virtual clock was used in showrooms and as projection. During the promotion the clock got lots of attention by the people of Switzerland.
