Description
How do we make printing and packaging services fun and interesting?
Could we even challenge the printer, and make them do something completely offbeat?
Execution
We created the Chameleon Cabin. A house that challenges the limits of what a printing house can produce. Seen from one side it is black, seen from the other side it is white. It shimmers like marble. But is made entirely from paper. Hence the name.
The house consists of 95 modules and is possible to serial produce. It can easily be shortended — or extended for hundreds of metres.
Outcome
Chameleon Cabin was featured in numerous, international magazines for design and architecture (once on the cover). Our agency and the architect have been interviewed several times. Some 60 international blogs have featured the projects. Göteborgstryckeriet have caught a lot of attention on business events, and have signed a few new clients. The project has also been nominated in design competition (to be continued . . . )
