OVERVIEW

Execution

Certain pitches, rhythms, and tones have been shown to alleviate pain and can potentially slow the growth of cancer cells, while also inducing states of deep relaxation in patients. Doctors believe that the use of binaural beats and specific frequencies can calm the body and promote an internal environment conducive to healing. We turned this concept of sound treatment into a healing device as a mean to provide therapy to patients as easy as a push of a button.

Outcome

These healing wave frequencies were being delivered efficiently to patients through a unique box. It was first introduced in Thailand through a live broadcast music therapy radio program designed by Chulabhorn Hospital in conjunction with Healthy Life Radio 104.5 FM. Healing Wave Boxes have now been installed in the cancer treatment stations alongside every patients’ bed at Chulabhorn Hospital. They work with any music device, and with just the push of a button, a patient can receive a Healing Waves treatment.
