Now, Pedigree is introducing the first school to go the other route, with a course for human guides.
Execution
Posters and ads provided a teaser about the project, and an online spot invited users to check out the campaign website.
At humanguides.com, people can find video lessons that take on all sorts of ways to meet the needs of blind pups.
An illustrated handbook provides easy-to-understand explanations about how to take care of an animal that’s lost its sight. It can be read as an e-book on the website or downloaded and printed out at home. And thousands of copies of the handbook, as well as the campaign posters, were distributed in pet shops and veterinary clinics across Brazil.
Outcome
More than a campaign, Pedigree Human Guides provided a service. It’s a school like no other, the first platform, branded or not, to address the topic of canine blindness from all angles, taking a complicated issue and turning it into easily consumable content. Pedigree Human Guides became a reference for vets across the country, who are recommending the platform to people who find themselves going through this situation with their dogs. And it’s been recognized in the media all across the world.
