Lover boy is making out with his girl. Suddenly, the bedroom door opens. He holds his breath. It’s the girl’s mom. She simply chirps, “Hello!” and invites them for snacks downstairs. The dumbfounded guy thanks the mom. As the door shuts, the girl slaps the guy, twice! He’s still in a daze when the door opens again. This time the mom says , “Your fly’s open,” as the girl’s younger brother peeps in and nonchalantly asks him to fix his toy robot. Bewildered, the guy acknowledges the mom, nods at the little boy and stares right back at his girl. It’s a roller-coaster of emotions in a short span of time. Just like the multiple emotions you’ll feel watching multiple short films at the Cinemalaya Festival.
