Description

Branded content evolves and redefines itself everyday. More brands are looking to shape their content strategies and stand out, especially in the digital terrain. VR from a storytelling perspective is the next frontier and the perfect medium for Branded Content since it literally places viewers into the middle of the action. But there’s still the question of adoption—how fast can we get the hardware into the hands of viewers. As the number of headsets are growing, it's vital to keep content platform agnostic so that it can be viewed across as many channels possible.

Execution

Clouds Over Sidra debuted at the World Economic Summit in Davos.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Emma Watson were among the dignitaries backing the launch of Clouds Over Sidra. The film was experienced by over 120 global leaders who all experienced Sidra’s refugee camp through her eyes.

Outcome

Donations to the Syrian refugee effort have risen since the roll-out of Clouds. The piece also screened at Sundance, SXSW, the TED talks, and the Third International Humanitarian Appeal for Syria, which was held in Kuwait and saw $3.4 Billion pledged. Countless humanitarian advocates, policy-makers, and the general public have experienced Sidra’s story.
